Detailed
Engineering Design for 375Km in Phase I was completed on March,1999 and for another
375 Km in Phase IA on
June 30,1999 and for 12 byepasses was completed under Phase IB in
March 2001 by M/s. Kinhill Pty Ltd.,
Australia.

Prequalification of
Contractors for Contract TNRSP 01, 02, 03 & 04
|
After prequalification, the bids
were received on October 14 & 15, 2003. Bid evaluation has been completed for package 01. No objection of the World Bank on
bid evaluationand award of contract has been obtained. Letter of Acceptance has been issued on 09.09.2004. Bid
evaluation of package 02,
03 & 04 duly approved by steering committee sent to World Bank.

Construction Supervision for Contract
TNRSP 01, 02, 03 & 04

It is proposed to appoint
Consultants to supervise the works in different contracts. The
agreement has been signed on March 31, 2004 with M/s Lea International Ltd, Canada for
package 01 (SC-1) and the value of consultancy services is Rs.19.07
crores and the consultant is reviewing the design and engineering
reports. The agreement has been concluded on 10.09.2004 with successful consultant M/s Sheladia Associates Inc, U.S.A for packages 2, 3, & 4 (SC-2) and the
value of consultancy services is Rs.15.59 crores. |
