The bids received within the stipulated  date will be evaluated based on the criteria outlined in the prequalification document. Prequalification will be based on meeting minimum pass / fail criteria on Applicant's general and particular experience, personnel and equipment capabilities, financial position in the prescribed forms. Sub contractors experience and resources will not be considered in determining the Applicant's compliance with the qualifying criteria. Public sector companies are eligible to qualify if they are not dependent agency of the borrower.

The lead partner should meet not less than 50% of all the qualifying criteria.

Each partner should meet not less than stipulated proposition of qualifying criteria.

The lead partner should be clearly identified and each partner in the Joint Venture  shall sign the letter of Application.

A 7.5% margin of preference for domestic bidders will apply in bid evaluation. To qualify for this preference individual firms must

Under the arrangement proposed will execute atleast 50% of the works measured in terms of the contract price.

Only companies that have been prequalified will be invited to bid. A qualified firm or member of Joint Venture may participate in only one bid or combination of contracts. Bidders will be required to provide bid security in the form of Bank Guarantee or other security acceptable to the Employer. The successful bidder will be required to provide performance security.
